Approach
I like to meet with the Bride and groom at least 5 to 6 months before the wedding to get to know them, as well as to get their expressions or ideas of what kind of images they would like me to create for their special day.
We discuss group shots who will be in these, sometimes there are special circumstances it is good to know these things beforehand. This way there will be no misunderstandings or confusion.
I love taking candid shots! I feel that these kind of shots truly get the emotions of the day.
However, I also believe that a couple needs some guidance when it comes to being in front of a camera.
Having said that, I guide you into very natural poses. This is why I also like to capture your engagement photos.
Doing this will help you both become familiar with how I work, and in turn I get to know some of your concerns.
Last but not least, keep in mind that a wedding is a happy occasion, but you will come to find out very quickly... that it can be a little stressful and emotional.
So by implementing the suggestions about posing and being a little familiar about the family. This will lessen some stress and the day will run smoother.
